Attorneys Iana Vladimirova and Olivier Reiher to Present on Chapter 11, Subchapter V Bankruptcy at ACC-WI Conference
Attorneys Iana Vladimirova and Olivier Reiher will present at the Association of Corporate Counsel Wisconsin Annual Chapter Conference and Meeting of Members, taking place May 16 and 17. The Conference is specially designed for in-house counsel and provides 24 CLE sessions from which these attorneys can choose, including two ethics credits. Attorneys Vladimirova and Reiher, along with their co-presenter, Attorney Rebecca DeMarb of Swanson Sweet LLP, will present, “The Golden Child: How Did the New Subchapter V Become the Favorite in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filings?” on the first afternoon of the Conference in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. This presentation will discuss the unique challenges that creditors face in Subchapter V matters and suggest strategies and best practices for creditors as well as considerations for corporate counsel and the businesses that employ them.

Attorney Iana Vladimirova is a partner at Stafford Rosenbaum. Iana’s practice focuses on business law with an emphasis on transactional, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation matters. Iana represents borrowers and financial institutions on commercial finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, mortgage lending, workouts, and other commercial loans. She also advises debtors and creditors in all types of insolvency matters, including chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 proceedings, foreclosure actions, and state court receiverships. In addition, Iana serves as a Chapter 11 Subchapter V trustee for the Eastern and Western District of Wisconsin and the Northern District of Illinois bankruptcy courts. Iana also litigates commercial matters involving tax issues, fraud, embezzlement, Ponzi schemes, and theft-by-contractor.
Attorney Olivier Reiher is a partner at Stafford Rosenbaum with a practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions, business and contract law, and corporate reorganizations. He is highly experienced advising creditors and business owners in exercising and protecting their rights in a variety of insolvency settings, such as bankruptcy court, state court receiverships, and out-of-court
workouts. Olivier also has several years of experience representing Wisconsin court-appointed receivers in all aspects of receivership sales and liquidations of businesses in a multitude of industries such as manufacturing, real estate, and retail.
