Practice
Attorney Pahoua Thao is a senior associate in Stafford Rosenbaum LLP’s Madison office. Her practice focuses on municipal and litigation matters. She is experienced in managing cases in all stages of litigation in both state and federal court, and she has spent several years representing insurance clients in municipal litigation defense issues, including equal protection and due process claims, 1983 actions, immunity, and residential real estate tax assessments.
During law school, Pahoua was a Judicial intern for Circuit Court Judges Gregory Huber and Michael Moran in the Marathon County Circuit Court, where she assisted with civil and criminal cases. She also worked as a legal writing research assistant at Northern Illinois University College of Law. After law school, Pahoua worked as a volunteer staff attorney for Wisconsin Judicare, Inc., and as a legal intern for the City of Wausau.
Pahoua is fluent in English and Hmong.
