Attorney Clementine Uwabera’s Practice
Attorney Clementine Uwabera is a partner in the Madison office of Stafford Rosenbaum. Her practice primarily focuses on litigation and municipal law, covering a wide range of areas including tort and civil rights defense, insurance defense, products liability, construction matters, commercial disputes, personal injury cases, and wrongful death claims.
Clementine began her legal career as an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit, where she gained valuable courtroom experience. Transitioning to civil litigation, she represented plaintiffs in complex premises liability, insurance coverage, and wrongful death matters, earning admission to the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
While in law school, Clementine pursued diverse legal experiences, including internships as in-house corporate counsel and as a judicial intern for Judge Nancy Joseph in the U.S. Eastern District Court of Wisconsin.
Clementine co-authors publications for the State Bar of Wisconsin on pertinent topics such as trade secrets, tortious interference with contractual relations, and the Litigation Forms Manual. Currently, Clementine serves as the President of the Dane County Bar Association and recently achieved a National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 honor.
