Attorney Zoe Pawlisch’s Practice

Attorney Zoe Pawlisch is an associate in Stafford Rosenbaum’s Madison office. Her practice centers on election and political law, appellate litigation, general civil litigation, and commercial law.

Zoe loves the law. She is a meticulous researcher and an elegant writer who is passionate about the interpretation of legal texts and developing state law. Zoe approaches client matters with creativity and is committed to crafting thoughtful solutions to meet client needs. Zoe’s drive to hone her craft and to stay abreast of trends in the law makes her an excellent addition to Stafford Rosenbaum’s talented team of litigators.

Prior to joining Stafford Rosenbaum, Zoe clerked for the Honorable Judge Rachel Graham of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District IV, where she gained valuable insights into appellate practice, became well versed in statutory and constitutional interpretation, tackled a wide array of novel legal issues, and finetuned her legal research and writing skills.

While in law school, Zoe received a number of academic honors, including Order of the Coif, the Dean’s Academic Achievement Award, the Mathys Memorial Award for Appellate Advocacy, and Best Performance recognitions in several courses including business organizations, criminal procedure, and labor and employment law.

Off the Job

Studying art history as an undergrad at the University of Wisconsin fostered Zoe’s passion for and interest in contemporary art. In her free time, she also enjoys baking and is a self-proclaimed cat person.
