Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is proud to announce that Attorney Katherine M. Tompson has joined the firm’s hardworking group of associates. Atty. Tompson’s practice will center on family law, and she has experience managing cases through various stages of divorce actions, mediation, and children’s matters.

Katie completed her Juris Doctorate at Marquette University Law School, where she became guardian ad litem and alternative dispute resolution certified. At Marquette, she was a member of the Pro Bono Honor Society and the Public Interest Law Society. During law school, she was a clerk for the Stafford Rosenbaum family law team of attorneys, which paved the way for her passion for helping families through difficult transitions. Prior to joining Stafford Rosenbaum, she spent several years interning in various practice areas, including criminal law and small claims, as well as volunteering at Madison and Milwaukee community justice centers. She was also a Judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Stephanie Rothstein of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court where she assisted with civil and criminal court proceedings as well as general daily court functions.

Stafford Rosenbaum’s Madison and Milwaukee offices offer a full spectrum of legal services to businesses, governments, non-profit organizations, and individuals. With our 140-year history, effective client communication continues to be at the heart of our practice. We are thrilled for Attorney Katie Tompson to join us in this tradition.
