Stafford Rosenbaum LLP partner and board member, James Egle, has been recognized as a 2019 Leader in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal. The annual recognition goes to attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, expertise, and community involvement while maintaining a full career highlighted by achievement and pro bono service. Recipients of this distinguished award will be honored at an event on February 21, 2019 in Milwaukee, WI.

“As a member of the Board of Directors at Stafford Rosenbaum, Jim has demonstrated not only a commitment to his practice and the firm, but has modeled what a leader in the legal field ought to be,” said Chris Hughes, Managing Partner at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP.

Jim’s practice focuses on dealership and franchise law, mergers and acquisitions, utility law, loan transactions, real estate and taxation. He has been recognized since 2011 as a Best Lawyer in America, has spoken to other attorneys and community groups on business organization planning, legal ethics, and changes in the federal and state tax laws, and has had articles published by Wisconsin Lawyer and the Franchise Law Journal.

A community advocate, Jim has dedicated time to a range of community organizations. His efforts have supported groups like the Badger Childhood Cancer Network, the Rainbow Project, the Verona Area High School Cross Country Boosters Club, and more. Jim demonstrates service, leadership, and care in both his practice and community involvement.

“Jim’s practice experience includes handling complicated negotiations, advising on tax implications, and drafting sale and purchase agreements and licensing or lease agreements. He provides reliably exceptional client service. Beyond that, he balances it all with volunteerism and engagement with the community,” said Hughes. “He truly is a Leader in the Law.”
