Attorney Katie Tompson Voted DCBA Director-at-Large
Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is extremely proud to announce that Attorney Katherine Tompson has been elected to the Director-at-Large position with the Dane County Bar Association! She will serve a two-year term, beginning this year. Katie appreciates the connection with her fellow Dane County attorneys fostered by involvement in DCBA events throughout the year, and she is excited for this leadership position where she will take responsibility for encouraging new membership, planning educational opportunities for members, and engaging members in public service.
Katie is a senior associate in Stafford Rosenbaum’s Madison office. Katie has a broad practice that includes family law, general civil litigation, business law, estate planning, and municipal prosecution. She volunteers several times a year at a free legal clinic that Stafford Rosenbaum offers at Centro Hispano, and she regularly volunteers at the Family Law Assistance Center and the State Bar of Wisconsin’s LRIS Lawyer Hotline. In her third year with the Communications Committee for the State Bar, she regularly reviews and approves articles for Wisconsin Lawyer. She is also actively involved in Dane County Family Law Attorneys Group (DC FLAG).
Katie has been active with the DCBA since she joined Stafford Rosenbaum, and she looks forward to an even more active role. She believes strongly in the organization’s mission: To provide unparalleled support to our diverse membership; promote a just, collegial and accessible legal system and profession; collaborate with the judiciary to achieve excellence in the administration of justice; and offer opportunities for public service and input into matters of public policy.
