Attorney Jeff Mandell to give several presentations on Election Law and Wisconsin Constitution in 2024’s first quarter

Jeff spoke to the Carpenters’ Union North Central States Legislative Conference at the Monona Terrace on February 29, 2024. He presented an update on the redistricting case surrounding Wisconsin’s legislative maps.

On March 7, Jeff will speak to the Milwaukee Bar Association, the American Constitution Society, and the Federalist Society on a panel about litigation under the Wisconsin Constitution. The panel will provide a high-level exploration of some of the weightiest state constitutional claims that Wisconsin judges are now deliberating—including issues like abortion, school choice, redistricting, voting rights, religious liberty, and separation of powers. On March 15, Jeff will speak at the State Bar of Wisconsin’s annual Election Law CLE on “The Status of Redistricting in Wisconsin and Beyond.” The day’s presentations will address procedural and legal questions raised regarding new legislative districts and challenges to candidate eligibility, provide updates on election-related legislation and litigation, and gain insight from the Wisconsin Elections Commission on election security.
