Attorney Carmen Ibarra’s Practice

Attorney Carmen Ibarra is an associate in Stafford Rosenbaum’s Madison office, working primarily with the firm’s Litigation Team. Her practice focuses on representing clients in litigation and other complex disputes, helping clients navigate challenging legal matters with thoughtful strategy, careful preparation, and a precise understanding of their goals.

Carmen values the opportunity to advocate for clients when their interests, businesses, or important relationships are at stake. She approaches each matter with curiosity, attention to detail, and strategy that is committed to both the legal complexities and practical realities of each dispute. Carmen believes in clear, responsive communication with her clients and works to make the litigation process as understandable and deliberate as possible while advocating for their best interests.

While in law school at the University of Wisconsin, Carmen participated as a student attorney with the Immigrant Justice Clinic; as a Mock Trial member; as a project assistant with the University; and as the social media chair for La Alianza, a student organization that empowers Latine law students through community, mentorship, and professional advocacy. Carmen gained valuable legal experience in a variety of settings as a law clerk with Stafford Rosenbaum and as a Judicial Intern with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals (District II) for Judge Neubauer in 2025.

Carmen is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
