Attorney Ben Alexander’s Practice

Attorney Ben Alexander is an associate in Stafford Rosenbaum’s Milwaukee office. His practice centers on litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation matters. Ben also practices on Stafford Rosenbaum’s Dealership and Franchise Law, Government Law, and Election and Political Law teams. With his experience working in judicial chambers, enthusiasm for thorough research, and keen attention to detail, Ben is a welcome addition to Stafford Rosenbaum’s established team of litigators.

With clients, Ben is involved in each phase of litigation, drawing on his previous experience in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, where he served as a term law clerk to Magistrate Judge William E. Duffin (2022-2023) and to Chief Judge Pamela Pepper (2023-2024). As a law clerk, Ben supervised a wide range of cases and drafted orders on motions including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions to remand. His time in chambers afforded him insight into what makes for effective oral and written advocacy—and what does not. This understanding, in turn, helps him identify and support his clients’ priorities and develop thoughtful, effective solutions.

Ben earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School where he was a Senior Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review and a Student Advocate with the Legal Assistance to Incarcerated People Project. He was also a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Achievement Award and was recognized for his legal research and writing in his law school’s Best Brief Competition.
