Sponsored in its entirety by Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, the Elections Research Center and State Democracy Research Initiative (SDRI) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will host a series of seminars during Election Matters 2024. This event series will bring together diverse experts to tackle evolving election-related issues.

“Current Challenges to Election Administration” kicks off the series on Friday, March 8, from 3:00-4:15pm Central, with a catered reception to follow. This event will take place in person at the University of Wisconsin Law School (Room 2260), with the option to livestream as well.

The topic for the first seminar will feature a panel of four experts who will focus on the challenges facing election administrators and potential solutions to address them. Over the last two election cycles, election administrators have worked under increasing pressure and scrutiny to deliver results both fast and accurately. This first installment of the Election Matters 2024 event series tackles the latest developments on the difficulties of administering elections in 2024 to provide crucial context for the upcoming election.
