Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is pleased to announce that James I. Statz has been named the firm’s Business Law Team Leader. Previously, the group was led by Denasha A. Scott, who is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Jim Statz’s practice includes extensive experience handling highly complex real estate transactions, which routinely involve negotiations with municipalities, lenders, investors, and buyers—as well as zoning laws and many levels of government regulation. Statz especially enjoys working with closely-held businesses and has advised numerous corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships. He has worked with entrepreneurs on acquisition, formation, sale, and organization of their businesses, including day-to-day operations. “I feel privileged to be chosen as the leader of Stafford’s Business Law Team,” said Statz. “I am eager to continue to collaborate with my colleagues, to help develop the team’s associates, and to work to maintain the success the team has accomplished for the firm and its clients.”
