In celebration of its 140th anniversary, Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is a proud sponsor of the Madison Parks Foundation and the upcoming Picnic in the Park. Stafford and the Madison Parks Foundation both trace their roots to the same man, the venerable John Olin. Olin served as the first president of the Madison Parks and Pleasure Drives Association, the predecessor organization to the Foundation. Created in the 1890’s, the MPPDA was a private venture by dedicated citizens to preserve the natural spaces around Madison for all to enjoy. Today, Stafford attorney Kyle Engelke serves as the Secretary for the Foundation which is celebrating its own 125th anniversary.

The event has moved from Tenney Park in its inaugural year, to Hoyt Park, to Olbrich Park, and now Vilas Park as we step back in time to experience the inspiration for our local parks. Partner celebrity chefs provide an era-inspired feast and the event features live music along with an update on Madison Parks Foundation’s latest initiatives.
