Following a special election by the partners at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, attorney Scott A. Seid has been elected to serve on the firm’s board of directors. Mr. Seid will join the five-member board and will oversee human resource functions. He will oversee the firm’s recruitment, internal evaluations, and career development for each associate attorney, law clerk, and paralegal.

Mr. Seid's practice is focused on representing business and individual clients in variety of matters including business acquisitions, contracts, employment matters (including non-compete agreements), real estate acquisition and leasing, equipment leasing, software licensing matters, and trademark and copyright matters. Prior to becoming an attorney, Scott worked for 11 years as a photojournalist for the Wisconsin State Journal covering sports and news stories throughout the United States.

“Service to the firm as a board member is both rewarding and challenging. While maintaining a full legal practice, board members also take on management duties and are tasked with making the big decisions. I’m grateful for Scott’s commitment, and I look forward to serving with him,” said Chris Hughes, managing partner at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP.

Mr. Seid’s election fills a recent vacancy on the board. His term will expire on February 19, 2022
