Stafford Rosenbaum LLP congratulates the Madison Parks Foundation for a stunning evening at this year’s Picnic in the Park! In celebration of its 140th anniversary, Stafford Rosenbaum LLP was a proud sponsor of the Picnic in the Park held this past weekend at Vilas Park. As many people may not know, Madison’s public parks were actually privately created by a group of influential and civic-minded leaders that came together to create the Madison Parks and Pleasure Drive Association dating back to the 1890’s. These founders held annual banquets to both bookmark and support their progress – Picnic in the Park recreates this annual tradition today.

Stafford Rosenbaum LLP and the Madison Parks Foundation both trace their roots to the same man, the venerable John Olin (founder of the law firm Olin & Butler and the first president of the Parks Association). Today, Stafford attorney Kyle Engelke serves as Secretary for the Foundation which is celebrating its own 125th anniversary. Please join Stafford in supporting the Madison Parks Foundation as they work to make Madison’s 176 playgrounds more accessible to all with barrier-free playgrounds. We look forward to next year’s Picnic in the Park to be held October 17, 2020 at Olin Park. Congrats again Madison Parks Foundation!
