Lori Dorn receives Wisconsin Law Journal Unsung Heroes award
Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is proud to announce that Director of Administration Lori Kannenberg Dorn, CLM, is a recipient of a 2024 Unsung Heroes award from the Wisconsin Law Journal! Lori will be honored on November 21 at the Wisconsin Law Journal’s Legal All-Star Awards ceremony. The Unsung Heroes award celebrates legal leaders who may not normally be recognized with accolades or spotlights—the leaders who have achieved significant accomplishments for their organization or community without receiving much public glory and praise.
Lori’s commitment to her work and community are evident in her innovative, creative, and thoughtful approaches to challenges and tasks. She is business-minded at all turns, finding best practices, encouraging and considering helpful feedback, and staying involved and active within her professional networks. She is organized, detailed, and efficient in undertakings ranging from high-level decisions that affect the entire firm to planning training on niche items. She is patient and generous with her time while also solving problems pragmatically. Lori also understands the importance of a work-life balance while maintaining her responsibilities, and she inspires others to have the same balance.
Lori Dorn has played an active role in law firm administration for more than 30 years. She holds an M.B.A. from Cardinal Stritch University and obtained her Certified Legal Manager accreditation from the Association of Legal Administrators, in which she is an active member of both the national and Wisconsin chapters. The Wisconsin ALA honored Lori with the Award of Excellence in 2007, and she served as a past president of the chapter. She is also an active member of Greater Madison SHRM and actively involved with the State Bar of Wisconsin, serving on numerous committees throughout her career.
