Stafford Rosenbaum LLP’s Director of Administration Lori Kanneberg Dorn, CLM has been appointed by State Bar of Wisconsin Chair-elect Jill Kastner to serve as the Chair of the State Bar’s Law Office Management Assistance Program (“LOMAP”) Advisory Committee. LOMAP provides information and support to attorneys related to law office management issues, including business planning, human resources, technology, facilities and operations management.
Ms. Dorn serves as the Director of Administration for Stafford Rosenbaum LLP. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Legal Manager (“CLM”) through the Association of Legal Administrators. Ms. Dorn has 30 years of experience in legal management and has been actively involved in numerous human resources and law related organizations. She has also served on an array of advisory boards related to the legal profession or business administration, including State Bar groups that pre-date LOMAP.
“I served on the working group that conceptualized the need and presented a proposal to the State Bar’s Board of Governors for establishing the LOMAP program, so it is an honor to serve this mission again,” said Dorn of her nomination. “The LOMAP program is an important service offered through the Bar. Chairing the Committee will allow me to share my experience and knowledge to benefit the program.”
The LOMAP Advisory Committee coordinates efforts regarding the various benefits of State Bar of Wisconsin membership, including technology and practice management resources. This support enables Wisconsin attorneys to better serve clients. As the chair of the committee, Dorn will be tasked with fulfilling the committee’s charge and overseeing the functions of the regular committee, including budgeting, planning, and facilitation of meetings.
