Laura Skilton Verhoff Elected to the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors

Laura Skilton Verhoff, Partner at Stafford Rosenbaum, has been elected to the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors.
The Board of Governors manages and directs the affairs and activities of the State Bar of Wisconsin. The board includes: the association's five officers, the immediate past president (all of whom are ex officio members-at-large of the board), 35 members elected from the State Bar districts, one member selected by the Young Lawyers Division, one member selected by the Government Lawyers Division, one member selected by the Senior Lawyers Division, five members selected by the Nonresident Lawyers Division, and three nonlawyers appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Laura previously served District Nine on the Board of Governor’s from 2012-2016. She has also served on the State Bar’s Executive Committee and as vice-chair of the Policy Committee. She has been a board liaison for the RPPT Section and has served on the LRIS committee since 2010. Laura’s practice includes estate and trust planning and administration, including probate litigation, creditor’s rights in collection, foreclosure and bankruptcy matters, and insurance benefits.
