We at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP are saddened to announce the death of a former partner, Attorney Lawrence Clancy, following an 18-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

In 2011, Atty. Clancy brought to the firm career-long achievements and experience in business and corporate law, banking and finance, bankruptcy, and real estate.

“It was an honor to call Larry Clancy my partner and a pleasure to call him my friend. Wisdom, integrity, and kindness radiated from him. He was a truly great lawyer and a mentor to us all. He will be sorely missed,” said Attorney Denasha Scott.

“Larry’s professionalism set a great example for everyone at Stafford. Not only was he an exceptional lawyer, but he welcomed everyone with a smile and unfailing positive demeanor. He is deeply missed,” Managing Partner James Egle said.

Atty. Clancy’s reputation within the firm preceded him, known as a “true gentleman” even by employees who had never had the opportunity to meet him.

We honor the legacy that Atty. Larry Clancy leaves behind, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to all who knew him. Please read his full obituary here.
