Stafford Rosenbaum LLP Partner Larry Konopacki will present on February 11 as a part of the February 2020 Dane County Bar Association (“DCBA”) luncheon program. Attorney Konopacki’s presentation, titled “The Re-Emergence of the Hemp Industry in Wisconsin” will cover topics including the legislative process relating to hemp, significant provisions in the applicable laws, market-center legal challenges, law enforcement, local regulation, and employment law related to hemp.

Attorney Konopacki’s practice focuses on environmental law, including the topics of natural resources, agriculture, administrative law, government, and energy. Prior to his service at Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, he worked with the Wisconsin Legislative Council and founded the Wisconsin Hemp Alliance, an organization focused on helping the industry flourish by removing legal barriers. Attorney Konopacki regularly volunteers on agency advisory boards, serves as an instructor for the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and currently serves the Madison College Paralegal Program Advisory Board.
