Attorney Jessica Mederson receives Women in the Law award
Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is proud to share that Attorney Jessica C. Mederson is a recipient of a 2024 Women in the Law award from the Wisconsin Law Journal! The award serves to recognize women lawyers who are accomplished leaders in their practice, organization, and community. Jessica will be honored on November 21 at the Wisconsin Law Journal’s Legal All-Star Awards ceremony.
Jessica’s commitment to her work and community are evident through active connection with the firm’s full array of practices, including the organization and launch of Construction Law and Federal Indian and Tribal Law as official Stafford Rosenbaum practice areas. She regularly combines her expertise in business and environmental law to promote climate change adaptation and resilience advice and education that help businesses avoid litigation related to the built environment. Jessica connects often with members of the firm through her Board of Directors leadership, mentorship of newer attorneys, and frequent collaboration on projects. She also has heavy involvement with the firm’s legal network, ALFA International.
Attorney Jessica Mederson is a partner in Stafford Rosenbaum’s Madison office, practicing business law and litigation. She has extensive experience with the legal issues relating to resiliency in the built environment. She also focuses on construction and manufacturing disputes, Uniform Commercial Code litigation, and contract negotiations and disputes. She serves on the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute’s Financial & Risk Management Committee, is certified for entry into OSHA permit-required confined spaces, and writes and presents nationally on various topics pertaining to her practice, including resiliency in construction projects and business operations.
