October 2, 2013: The Division of Hearings and Appeals will hold a contested case hearing in the matter of the denial of the application of Gary Glojek to place a structure on the bed of Green Bay, Village of Ephraim in Door County.
October 2, 2013: The Assembly Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security will hold a public meeting on the NR 700 series of rules for the right the rules initiative. There will be no opportunity for public testimony at the meeting.
October 3, 2013: The Nonmetallic Mining Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting on preparing a report on the reasonableness of fees charged to operators of nonmetallic mines to support the statewide NR 135 Nonmetallic Reclamation program. The report is due to the Natural Resources Board every 5 years. The Nonmetallic Mining Advisory Committee advised the DNR in administering the statewide nonmetallic mining reclamation program. The NMAC is comprised of nine members that represent the stakeholders and provide the DNR with input on matters pertaining to the reclamation of nonmetallic mining sites.
