Environmental Week in Preview – Week of November 18th, 2013
November 18, 2013: The Division of Hearing and Appeals will hold a telephone prehearing conference in regard to the air pollution control construction permit issued to FTS International Services, LLC located in Arcadia, Trempealeau County, to construct and initially operate an industrial sand mine and processing plant.
November 20, 2013: The DNR will hold a public hearing on air permit applications, including plans and specifications for the construction and operation of a renewable energy production facility at NCCE – New Chester Dairy Site and NCEE – Brakebush Brothers Site. The New Chester site will be constructing and operating four anaerobic digester vessels, one boiler, one biogas-fired generator, and two open flares. The Brakebush Brothers Site will include two boilers, five biogas-fired generators, and an open flare.
November 21, 2013: The DNR will hold a permit hearing on an air pollution control permit application from United Wisconsin Grain Producers, LLC. The permit application includes plans and specifications for construction and initial operation of a pre-fermentation corn oil extraction process, corn oil storage tank, selective grind technology corn starch processing operation and revision of the analysis for the permits.
