Environmental Week in Preview – Week of June 10, 2013
June 10, 2013: The DNR will hold a public hearing on nine wastewater permits for facilities that have been allocated a wasteload in the Rock River Basin Total Maximum Daily Load. The facilities include: Village of Brownsville, Leroy Sanitary District, Village of Lomira, City of Mayville, Village of Theresa, Ashippun Sanitary District, Village of Hustisford, Lebanon Sanitary District #1 and Lebanon Sanitary District #2.
June 10, 2013: The DNR will hold a public hearing on proposed infrastructure State Implementation Plan for the 2008 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) and the 2010 Nitrogen Dioxide and Sulfur Dioxide NAAQS. Another hearing will be held regarding the proposed State Implementation Plan submittal regarding repeal of the state’s Total Suspended Particulate air quality standard.
June 12, 2013: The Division of Hearings and Appeals will hold a Class 1 contested case public hearing in the matter of the DNR’s North Lake boat launch plan amendment. The contested issue is whether the plan amendment to the storm water management plan yield storm water management plans that satisfy the performance standards of subchapter III of NR 151, as applicable to entities covered under the WPDES General Permit No. WI-S067831-3 Construction Site Storm Water Runoff?
