Just a reminder-as of April 30, 2012, most private sector employers must post a notice advising employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act. Even non-union employers must comply. If an employer posts other personnel policies or workplace notices on an internal or external website, it must also post the notice on that website. The poster explaining the rights must be 11 x 17 and should be posted where notices of other workplace rights and employer policies are posted. The National Labor Relations Board has created a model notice for employers to download and post in the workplace. The posters can be found at www.nlrb.gov/poster.
