Attorney Pam Ploor presents and authors recent updates to labor & employment law in Wisconsin
Attorney Pamela Ploor authored “Artificial Intelligence in Municipal Employment” for the March 2024 edition of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities magazine, The Municipality. The article addresses government guidance, risks, and recommendations for the use of AI tools in municipal employment, and it is part of a bi-monthly employment law series that Pam has been writing for The Municipality for nearly two years.
Pam will present “Human Resources Legal Updates” during the League of Wisconsin Municipalities’ Human Resources for Small Communities webinar on Wednesday, March 13. Pam’s presentation is part of a four-day event for leaders of small communities and will discuss updates on federal and Wisconsin employment laws of interest to municipal employers and legal trends affecting the workplace in 2024. This webinar is designed for local government employees or managers with responsibility for HR issues.
Pam has also contributed to the ALFA International Labor & Employment Practice Group by writing an updated Wisconsin labor and employment law compendium. The compendia for this practice group is designed to provide an overview of the most common labor and employment law issues affecting United States employers, together with the most recent statutory and decisional law on those issues in every state.
