Who We Are
We are one of Madison’s leading law firms. We offer competitive benefits and compensation, which include an incentive bonus program. Benefits include health, life, long-term disability, 401(k), profit sharing, paid family and medical leave, bar memberships, bar admission and continuing legal education fees, and flexible benefit plan participation. Our compensation and benefits package reflect our goal of attracting talented lawyers who have an enthusiasm for client service, integrity and teamwork.
We hire only those attorneys whom we believe have the professional and personal qualities needed to become a partner at Stafford Rosenbaum. First year associates are generally eligible for partnership consideration within six years of hire, although longevity with the firm is not the only consideration. We also look at firm contribution and commitment, quality of performance, and client development. The career path for lateral hires will vary according to individual experience.
Our attorneys work hard, but they also have a private life. We believe that the richer our lives outside the firm, the better prepared we are to serve our clients. The firm sponsors numerous social events throughout the year.
Where We Work
Madison is a booming city of over 200,000, and is consistently rated by national publications as one of the best places to live in America. Our Madison office is located in the heart of downtown Madison and one block from the state capitol, where the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra holds a free outdoor concert Wednesday evenings in the summer. Our lawyers enjoy the concerts sitting on the capitol lawn with family and friends, not at their desks. If you want to learn more about Madison, visit www.madison.com, the web site of Madison’s daily newspaper.
Our Milwaukee office is located in the High Point Office Center at the intersection of Mayfair Road and Watertown Plank Road. Milwaukee offers many year-round cultural, recreational and professional sports activities — something for every age and interest. Visit museums (including the internationally renowned Milwaukee Art Museum), mansions, gardens and parks or take in the summer lakefront festivals or the zoo.
