Stafford Rosenbaum Attorneys Support Madison Parks Foundation’s 9th Annual Picnic in the Park
Stafford Rosenbaum sponsors annual fundraiser for Madison Parks Foundation for ninth consecutive year
Stafford Rosenbaum LLP congratulates the Madison Parks Foundation for a “tubular” evening at its 2026 Picnic in the Park! Stafford Rosenbaum has been the major sponsor of Picnic in the Park since its inception, and the firm was proud to once again sponsor the event, held this past weekend at the newly renovated Warner Park Community Recreation Center. This year’s celebration theme featured a “The Park is Right” gameshow set and a 1980s-style prom! As many people may not know, Madison’s public parks were privately created by a group of influential and civic-minded leaders that gathered to create the Madison Parks and Pleasure Drive Association, dating back to the 1890s; these founders held annual banquets to bookmark and support their progress, and Picnic in the Park recreates this annual tradition today by stepping back in time—decade by decade and park by park—to celebrate this legacy.
Stafford Rosenbaum LLP and the Madison Parks Foundation both trace their roots to the same man, the venerable John M. Olin, founder of the law firm Olin & Butler and the first president of the Parks Association. Stafford Rosenbaum Attorney Kyle Engelke currently serves on the Madison Parks Foundation Board of Directors. Please join Stafford Rosenbaum in supporting the Madison Parks Foundation as they work to make Madison’s 176 playgrounds more accessible to all with barrier-free playgrounds and provide programming to those who are underserved in our community. We are already looking forward to next year’s Picnic in the Park—congratulations again to the Madison Parks Foundation!
