Gregory M. Jacobs to Speak at June 2019 Wisconsin State Bar Annual Conference

Stafford Rosenbaum LLP attorney Gregory M. Jacobs, a senior associate in the firm’s Milwaukee office, will be a panelist at the joint presentation of the Judicial Education Committee and the Bench Bar Committee at the State Bar Convention on June 13, 2019 addressing changes to discovery rules that went into effect July 2018.

Greg is an experienced civil litigator with a wide-ranging practice including products liability, lemon law, and breach of warranty defense matters, as well as breach of contract, intellectual property, and other business-related disputes. He also has experience defending municipalities in eminent domain, annexation, and property tax assessment disputes, and representing parties in disputes arising from real estate transactions, construction projects, and land ownership matters.

In addition, Greg has significant insurance and risk management experience.  Greg has represented policyholders in the recovery of proceeds from a wide variety of primary and excess insurance policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, professional liability, employment practices liability, cyber liability, political risk, and builder’s risk, as well as first-party property damage and business interruption policies.  Greg also regularly advises commercial and non-profit entities in managing risk through the procurement of appropriate and necessary insurance products and the adoption of other risk transfer and management strategies.
