Responsibilities include drafting, revising, formatting and preparing documents; handling daily correspondence; maintaining client files; scheduling meetings as requested; client interaction; and supporting others in the office as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • A minimum of three years of experience working as a legal assistant
  • Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a law firm
  • Familiarity with legal procedures, protocols, and court system
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail, with accurate typing and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work proactively
  • Positive, professional attitude with a pleasant demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and/or experience in family law
