Mr. Clancy has served as counsel to banks and other lending institutions in connection with major loan transactions and workouts and the enforcement of creditor remedies in bankruptcy situations. He also counsels business clients with diverse manufacturing and service operations and has handled a wide range of business sales and acquisitions.
Mr. Clancy has broad experience in the field of real estate including major business ventures, resort developments and condominiums. He has also handled numerous commercial real estate transactions. During the 1980s, Mr. Clancy served as general counsel to a large New York based real estate investment company and handled numerous transactions on its behalf throughout the United States and Canada involving major office buildings, shopping centers and apartment projects.
