John Greene’s practice focuses on environmental law. Prior to joining Stafford, John served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Wisconsin Department of Justice for twenty-six years, half of which he spent practicing in the Environmental Protection Unit. He has handled cases involving a wide range of environmental issues, including wastewater, shoreland zoning, air pollution, hazardous waste, and tribal regulatory authority. John also served as director of the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Unit at the Department of Justice, and has extensive experience in consumer protection matters. John has handled numerous cases and appeals in both state and federal courts.
