Stafford Rosenbaum's Scott Seid was recently elected to the Dane Buy Local Foundation’s Board of Directors. It is the mission of the Dane Buy Local Foundation to help the public understand the importance of buying locally, to expand support of challenged populations in the area by offering special supportfor minority business that result in stronger neighborhoods, to provide more mentorship opportunities in the schools, to provide more marketing support and networking opportunities to Dane Buy Local member businesses at low or no cost, to provide more training opportunities for local businesses at low or no cost, and to commission research to learn more about the economic impact that buying locally has on the area’s economy.

Scott's practice is focused on representing business and individual clients in variety of matters including business acquisitions, contracts, employment matters (including non-compete agreements), real estate acquisition and leasing, equipment leasing, software licensing matters, and trademark and copyright matters. He practices in the firm’s Madison office.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Scott worked for 11 years as a photojournalist for the Wisconsin State Journal covering sports and news stories throughout the United States. Scott is a member of the Fitchburg-Verona Rotary Club.
