Denasha Scott, a partner at Stafford Rosenbaum, was among this year’s Wisconsin Law Journal’s Women in the Law recipients. The Wisconsin Law Journal honored outstanding achievement by the top women in the practice of law who by achieving success, have also paved the way for success for other women in the legal profession.Thirty outstanding female members of the state’s legal community were honored at the event, which was attended by more than 300 people at Milwaukee’s Pfister Hotel.

Denasha'spractice is split between business law, which also includes a large amount of tax exempt and charitable foundation work, and estate planning. Denasha'sinterest in representing tax-exempt clients and charitable foundations has prompted her to take on leadership roles in her community. She has served as a director of the Jane Bradley Pettit Foundation, as well as a member of Antonia Foundation Inc., Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens Board of Directors and Rotary Club Milwaukee.Denasha graduatedmagna cum laudeand Order of the Coif from University of Wisconsin Law School and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin.
